No problem at all : Honda Pilot Genuine factory OEM 08L04-SZA-110 Crossbars 2009 - 2012
I didn't have any problems at all with these rails. My bigger problem was trying to figure out how to get the end caps off so I could install the rails but that has nothing to do with the rails themselves.
My suggestion to anyone installing these themselves - get a friend. The tolerances on these are very tight and if you don't advance the rails along the left and right slides together you will cock the rail locking it in place and will just drive yourself crazy. The best thing to do is to have 2 people, one on either side of the car and working together move the rails forward in a series of synchronized small movements.
As to commenting on the rails themselves, what is there to say... They are the actual Honda product so they fit like they were specifically designed for this purpose, because they were.
We put these one for a couple of reasons, first we had them on our prior car and just got used to the look (also makes your Pilot stand out a bit since it is unusual to have these installed these days) and second we will be buying a live x-mas tree in the very near future and we didn't want the fresh cut tree in direct contact with the paint (we are afraid of getting pine sap on the car).
